“What we need are critical lovers of America – patriots who express their faith in their country by working to improve it.”

-Hubert Humphrey

This past Tuesday (July 4th, 2017) we celebrated our nation’s 241st celebration of Independence! 241 years celebrating FREEDOM! Independence by definition is the state of being independent. And we are! To me America will always be the greatest country in the world. We have the FREEDOM to wake up every morning and decide what we want to do. Yes, we all have certain things that we HAVE to do. But in America, one has the freedom to wake up and take their Jeep out on the local 4×4 trails.

Tuesday we had the privilege in join about 200 other participants in the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade. Thousands were in attendance. Kids were running around with American flags painted on their cheeks hoping some candy will come their way. This is a such a wonderful event having the community gather together and celebrate FREEDOM!

It was an honor to be involved in this community event. There were elephants, over 100 cars, dancers, Jack Sparrow, a 1947 Jeep Willy’s, horses, police, firemen, and paramedics. The Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce were judging the floats as you made your final turn on the parade route. We decided not to be judge though. We were in the parade for the fun of it!

Representing Dream 4×4, we had our 1948 Jeep Willy’s leading the pack, followed by a navy four-door Orieon Reeper (UTV/side-by-side), then a Red, White, and Blue Jeep Wranglers. We had such a blast celebrating America with our friends and family in the parade as well as getting to enjoy it with our local community members too! Thank you to the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce for another successful event!

We hope you and your family had a Great and Happy 4th of July!!!
